Description:
GDC Vista Tunneling Procedure Instrument
Vista tunneling instruments are designed for root coverage to treat Miller’s Class I and II gingival recession defects. The first incision is made at the base of the sulcus, then the attachment is severed from the osseous crest, raising the mucoperiosteal pouch with a sub periosteal dissection and follow with a curette.
VISTA Stands for Vestibular Incision Sub periosteal Tunneling Access. The vestibular incision sub periosteal tunnel access (VISTA) technique offers a minimally invasive approach for the treatment of multiple recession defects, also it allows for the fixation of gingival margins, thereby preventing its
apical relapse in the initial stages of healing.
