Descriptions:

Endo Activator Tips are 22mm in length with depth gauge rings at 18,19 and 20mm. They have an easy snap on/snap off design and are made from medical grade polymer that is strong and flexible. The tips are color coded – small(yellow), medium(red) and large(blue) , so they are easy to differentiate.

The Endo Activator System is used in endodontic treatment by application of sonic energy. The Activator tips are used in conjunction with the Handpiece/Driver to provide the energy for tip oscillation and vibration Cavitation and acoustic streaming improve debridement and the disruption of the smear layer and biofilm. Activated fluids promote deep cleaning and disinfection into lateral canals, fins, webs, and anastomoses. A cleaned root canal system facilitates 3-D obturation and long-term success.

Precautions:

To avoid the contamination of the root canal, the irrigator tip should be disinfected before use.
The tips should be cleaned with the use of gauge moistened with the disinfecting solution like sodium hypochlorite.
For infection control, select the approximately sized sonic irrigator tip and remove it from plastic packages.
Irrigator Tips are intended for single patient use.
Proper Disposal of the tips should be done after the use.
Do not autoclave.
Never twist, turn or torque the tips when removing.
Never use the clock wise or the counter clock wise motion to remove the tip.
