An Nylon squeeze cloth is a type of filter cloth that is used to extract excess mercury from an amalgam mix. Amalgam is a mixture of mercury and other metals, such as silver, tin, and copper, that are commonly used in dental fillings. To use an Nylon squeeze cloth, the mixture of amalgam is placed on the cloth and the excess mercury is squeezed out using a special tool called an Nylon condenser.
